Next Generation MMA fighter, and Paddy Pimblett training partner, Luke Riley says that the UFC must be next, after he moved to 11-0 at Cage Warriors 185 on Saturday night.
Riley defeated Tariel Abbasov by second round technical knockout, in the main event in Manchester.
The Liverpool-based fighter called for the UFC after the fight as he said to Fight Night Network: "I should be in the UFC [already], a few external problems have prevented that, but I have been on the radar since the Loof fight, but I should be in the UFC next hopefully."
Riley came through a tough first round, contesting his opponents high pressure wrestling but he remains confident throughout as he said: "He did get me down a few times, but I could tell I was a lot stronger than him. I just had to stay composed, and I knew that when it got to the feet I was gonna put him away."
Despite another big win to maintain his undefeated record, Riley referenced Gervonta Davis, a fighter that he looks up to as he said: "You can be happy, but you can't be too happy because you have got to get back in the cage and do it again. You win, get back in the gym and do it again, it's the grind, the job. I'm happy but I can't get too comfortable."
Riley may now be joining a number of his teammates in the UFC, with Molly McCann and Nathan Fletcher fighting at UFC London this weekend, and Paddy Pimblett fighting Michael Chandler at UFC 314 next month.
Elsewhere on the card, Next Generation MMA fighters went undefeated.
Adam Cullen survived an early scare to win by vicious first round TKO, Chris Price won in unfortunate circumstances due to disqualification via an illegal knee strikes, and Fran Breen won his return fight in spectacular fashion inside the first round.
