Paddy Pimblett will take on Michael Chandler at UFC 314 in Miami on April 12, in a five round co-main event.
Pimblett has a chance to break into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings for the first time after winning his first six fights with the promotion.
He released a statement to the UFC Europe instagram that said: "The Baddy is coming to Miami. Two fan favourites, coming to put on a show for everyone and I cannot wait!"
Chandler is ranked 7th in the division but hasn't won since he knocked out Tony Ferguson in 2022.
The announcement came during an action packed Instagram live stream by UFC president Dana White last night.
White also announced Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes for the featherweight world title for UFC 314. Along with Yair Rodriguez vs Patricio Pitbull, Geoff Neal v Carlos Prates, and Dan Ige vs Sean Woodson amongst others.
He also announced that Belal Muhammad will defend his welterweight title at UFC 315 against Jack Della Maddalena in Montréal.
